Five Things Motorcycle Trainers Should Know About Insurance
As motorcycle trainers in Ontario, you likely encounter many new riders who are excited to get on the road. Insurance may seem complicated for new riders, but we’re here to help. Here are some facts to keep in mind:
- New riders can get M2 insurance rates as soon as they pass their course. As soon as a new rider passes their course, NFP can get them on the road at M2 rates. No need to wait the 60 days for official M2 status. That way they can apply everything they’ve learned while it’s still fresh.
- With insurance discounts, the new rider training course pays for itself. New riders may see the course as expensive and question whether they need it. We know the course will make them safer riders, so passing the course results in an insurance discount. Typically, the insurance savings pay for the course (and then some!) by the end of year one.
- NFP can help guide new riders on the right bike for them as they start out. We’re more than a brokerage — our motorcycle insurance specialists know bikes and are happy to help. We can guide new riders on the right bike for them, and the steps they need to take to get on the road.
- NFP has access to insurance for motorcycle riders of all ages, on all styles of bike. NFP has access to insurance for motorcycle riders of all ages, on all styles of bike Si vous avez suivi une formation avancée et que vous êtes formateur, vous pouvez bénéficier d’économies.
