As the managing director of Life and Wealth Management in Canada, Mark Waxman, addresses client needs by providing a range of services, including individual and business insurance needs/estate planning. His extensive expertise enables him to oversee the operations of the Life and Wealth Management division.
Mark has been in the insurance industry for over 26 years, beginning in 1995 with DOT and following their integration with NFP Canada in 2008; he helps guide and direct NFP’s Canadian operations. Mark’s notable success is within NFP’s Physicians Solutions division. He, and the team, work with medical professionals across the country to deliver tailor-made insurance needs from their time in medical school, residency training, medical practice to retirement.
When interacting with clients, Mark appreciates how the one-on-one interaction promotes a close-knit relationship throughout his clients’ careers. For him, client relationships are not only professional but also personal.
He strongly believes in community involvement and is a long-time supporter of Autism Speaks Canada, an autism advocacy organization dedicated to promoting solutions for individuals across the spectrum. He has also been a minor league hockey coach for over 15 years.
