As associate general counsel for NFP’s Canadian Operations, Lesley works closely with the company’s business leaders overseeing all corporate legal matters and acquisitions in Canada. Lesley is responsible for mitigating NFP’s legal risk while maximizing opportunities within the company’s diversified business.
Prior to joining NFP, Lesley held the role General Counsel & Corporate Secretary with RSA Canada, a large P&C carrier. Prior to that, Lesley spent several years in private practice, working on M&A and other corporate transactions. Lesley earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Huron College at the University of Western Ontario.
