As a managing director, Evan Garner co-leads the Complex Risk Solutions Group of NFP in Canada with specialization in natural resources.
Evan began his insurance career 15 years ago at a global brokerage, where he acquired acute client management and brokerage competencies with a myriad of complex accounts, progressively focusing on asset intensive-industry classes such as energy, heavy manufacturing, and transportation (particularly in the rail sector). Most recently, at another global broker, he was responsible for establishing the corporate risk and broking (P&C) business in Quebec. Although he has held different senior positions over the years, he has always maintained a key advisory and brokerage role with clients.
Evan holds a CRM accreditation with McGill University and an Executive MBA from Queen’s University.
